Alfred Seeley (active c.1865–1891) was a photographer and portrait painter based at The Ferns Studio, Onslow Road, Richmond Hill, Surrey. His studio advertised portraiture, views and group photographs taken anywhere in the country, but his range seems to have been restricted to southern central England.
Seeley initially worked with his brother in Islington before moving to Richmond in 1865 and subsequently establishing an independent business. His surviving work includes topographical photographs, among them views of Hampton Court Palace. He was active into the late Victorian period, although further biographical details and his exact dates remain uncertain. |
